I've protected seven goddamned nations from their own self-inflicted problems, both caused by the one they worshipped and the Tsaritsa with her stupid pawns called the harbingers Aether. A stage to decide the sibling's fate, to see who would rule the lands reborn anew. It was to be reborn, a mere stage to reenact a war far greater than what the lands have seen and experienced. Flames and ashes were all the eye could see, mortal cries and begs for mercy from the ones above to save their pitiful selves. Lumine stretched out her hands, displaying what surrounded her and him. Tired of Teyvat and its troublesome Archons who sat back as the ones who revered them struggled, from the people who saw her as a tool to use, and her sibling who placed himself on a grandiose throne, watching her every move yet didn't reach out to help, even when death came to knock on her door. Yet have you ever even thought about what I have been through? What I had to abandon!? All of that, for this!?" She was tired, utterly tired and exhausted. "You talk about sacrifice huh Aether? Sure you've lost many people that you cherished, I know. You know how much I sacrificed-" right then and there, she bursted into laughter. "You don't know what I have been through and you never will. She wanted to yield, to give in and give up, but this was the only way to get her brother back. "Go home? To where sister!? WHERE IS HOME?!" Aether's scoffs turned into defiant shouts as he strode towards Lumine. "Come on Aether, stop this now and we could go home-" Lumine clenched the sword in her hand yet her stance relaxed, too fatigued to even evade the arrows impaling her back. Still, despite the clear fog that hid her loved one, she tried to push through, to see the Aether she knew and loved. Poison and hurt coursed through her veins, not letting her have a moment's rest. Heavy breathes escaped her mouth, crimson liquid leaked from the wounds her own brother had inflicted, both in her heart and skin. She was deceived, betrayed by her own kin, by the universe itself, wasn't she? Suffered by putting her life on the line for nation upon nation to get each a sentence of information on her sibling's whereabouts, to feel pathetic as if her efforts were in vain. Suffered through the hands of Celestia and its disastrous world, leading her to a path of destruction. Paimon was right, she should've never suffered. You thought you could defeat me?" The blonde mocked, each word digging daggers into her heart and soul. "Hah Lumine, oh my dearest sister Lumine. "They finally meet once more, as brother and sister, or as enemies on opposing sides?" "Lumine's journey is to be met with one last hurdle, would she fall limp on her knees, or would "a happily ever after" be the end fate meant for her all this time?"
